ended up for their gen6 SR20DE header they got a patent for it before releasing it. Now if theres any issues with their design being copied they can fight it.
Sure its a big hassle to go thru, but I think if I invested that much $$ into R&D and then production it'd be worth it to protect my investment.
Maybe I'm blind, or can't read, but why is that such an issue with companies to do? If they're products are being rip'd off, use the system to protect yourself. Maybe its a problem because the patent won't help for people in foreign countries (such as china as stated above) (?) That I'm not sure about.
